Chief Minister and Cabinet Directorate

The Canberra Citizen of the Year Award recognises those in the ACT who, through their personal efforts, have made a significant contribution to our community. Both individuals and groups may be nominated for the award and may be recognised in any field, including the arts, education, community work or business.

Canberra Gold Award

Chief Minister and Cabinet Directorate

The Canberra Gold Chief Minister's Award recognises the unique contribution made by individuals and groups who have chosen to make a long-term commitment to the ACT. Through this award; the ACT Government celebrates this dedication by honouring individuals and groups who have resided or operated in the ACT for fifty years of more. Canberra Gold Chief Minister's Awards are distributed each year as part of Canberra's birthday celebrations. Award recipients will receive a certificate.
