Canberra Men's Centre

Non-Government

The Canberra Men's Centre provides an Information and Referral Service for men living in the ACT and region. Services include counselling, access to supported accommodation and other community services, referrals, peer support groups and assistance with literacy or language barriers to fill in forms. A meeting room with TV, DVD and electronic white board is available for use by private and community groups.

Services provided by the Public Trustee include will-making and administration of deceased estates; asset services under Enduring Power of Attorney; trustee for trusts created in Wills, Deeds and Court Orders for families, infants and people with disabilities; management of assets siezed under the Confiscation of Criminal Assets Act; administration of unclaimed monies; acting for people with disabilities where ordered by a Court and examination of accounts maintained by external managers on behalf of people with impaired decision-making abilities.

Youth Coalition of the ACT

The Youth Coalition is the peak youth affairs body in the Australian Capital Territory and is responsible for representing the interests of people aged between 12 and 25 years of age, and those who work with them.
