Health Directorate

The Walk-in Centres, located at Belconnen and Tuggeranong, provide fast, free one-off advice and treatment for people with minor illness and injury and are open from 7.30am till 10pm, every day of the year. No appointment necessary. Please note. Canberra Hospital Walk-in Centre is now closed.

Canberra Hospital

The Canberra Hospital is the ACT and surrounding region's major public hospital. This site provides details of clinical services available, employment and volunteering opportunities and the ANU Medical School as well as helpful information for patients and visitors.

Calvary Health Care ACT

Calvary Public Hospital and Calvary Private Hospital provide an extensive range of inpatient, ambulatory care and outreach facilities and services. Calvary also provides hospice and clinic facilities.

Calvary John James Hospital

Health Directorate

Calvary John James Hospital is the largest private hospital in the ACT. Calvary John James provides the only private maternity unit on the south side of Canberra with a special care nursery. It also has the only purpose built private rehabilitation unit with hydrotherapy pool in Canberra.
