The Molonglo Reach water ski area is closed to the general public due to submerged and floating debris.

A tightly controlled licence has been issued to ACT Water Ski Association for training and tournaments. The licence is strictly monitored by Transport Canberra and City Services, the Environment Protection Authority and ACT Policing.
