National Arboretum guided walks in January: Fire and Water

Saturdays and Sundays in January

Hear about the origins of the Arboretum from the bush fires of 2001 and 2003 and how the Arboretum is managing fire risk now. Learn how water is being managed on site to maintain the health of the forests. Join your guide on this new walk and see some very rare trees from Australia and north Africa, including the Saharan and Moroccan cypresses - only about 230 of these trees are still growing in the wild. Saturdays and Sundays 10am to 11am. FREE.
