Australia Day Fireworks Spectacular

The best vantage points are Regatta Point, the lawns of the National Library or Rond Terrace. Be sure to get there early to enjoy the entertainment and great atmosphere. From 9pm the sky above Lake Burley Griffin come to life with a dazzling fireworks display set to a truly Aussie soundtrack.

Australia China Friendship Society Lantern Making Workshop

Come and make a lantern, be creative and then bring your lantern to the Lantern Festival on Saturday 11 February 2017. For adults and children (young children will need to be accompanied by adults). Bring a cutting board, scissors, ruler and pencil. $3 per person.

Australia China Friendship Society Lantern Festival

Pack a picnic and enjoy the colour and spectacle of the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival. Bring your own lantern or buy one there. Prizes for the best hand-made lanterns. Entry is free.
