*On 15 September, the Australian and ACT Governments announced an expansion of the COVID-19 Business Support Grants to align with the extension of the ACT lockdown to 15 October. You can read the announcement here.

The ACT COVID-19 Business Support Grants provide non-employing businesses with a one-off $7,500* grant over the lockdown period.

Applications are now open.

Businesses must meet all the eligibility criteria including:

Businesses will need to provide evidence of a 30 per cent reduction in turnover revenue in a consecutive 7-day period in the declared lockdown (between Friday 13 August and Friday 17 September), compared with a consecutive 7-day period in April 2021 to August 2021 for which comparable business activity would have occurred.

Businesses can apply at any time and will not have to submit individual applications for each week.  Payment will be made in a lump sum on average within 30 days of receiving a correctly lodged application. If we need to seek further or updated information from you to correctly assess your claim, this timeline will be reset. Note that we expect high initial demand and the timeframe may need to be extended.
