The next stage of the Canberra Hospital Expansion has begun with the installation of the first of two electric tower cranes this week.

Now that the demolition is complete, construction of the state-of-the-art, eight-storey Critical Services Building is getting underway.

This first tower crane is a symbol of the massive effort required to bring this hospital expansion to life.

Canberrans can help “Name the Cranes” by voting on the shortlist of 10 suggestions, which will be published on YourSay later this month. Winning names will be announced in April.
