The City Renewal Authority is responsible for contributing to the economic growth, cultural diversity and street life to support Canberra’s growing city community. We started managing the City Centre Marketing and Improvements Levy last year, working with the levy payers, on developing services and programs to increase activity and vibrancy within Civic, Braddon and Acton.
We are approaching this by delivering people-focused, design-led and sustainable projects and programs and encouraging open conversations with businesses about how to innovate our city.
Our mission is to work with the community, businesses and government to deliver new buildings, places, events and activations within the levy area and to create an attractive, liveable and sustainable city.
