Experiment: Community welcome

Experiment: Community welcome

Haig Park Experiments invites all those who are interested to a special event to welcome previously consulted community members back to Haig Park as well as meeting new and interested members of the public. This casual event will include afternoon tea and playful activities.

Place Plan Theme:  Cultural Program – ‘To provide a diverse range of things to do within the park.’

Date: Saturday 22 June, 1-3pm

Location: Between Lonsdale Street and Girrahween Street intersection

Observation: It is important to reconnect community members who have previously been consulted over the past two years in regard to Haig Park.

Hypothesis: A welcome event to launch the experiments program can enable those who have previously provided input into the project to be part of this next phase.

Favourable Outcome: Previously consulted community members continue to be connected to the project and the park; new interested members understand that this project is part of a larger development process.

We would love to get your feedback on this experiment. Have YourSay and help to improve Haig Park.
