The 2019 World Curry Festival is on this Friday 30 August and Saturday 31 August 2019. Experience the authentic tastes of curries from all over the globe at this year’s festival, and be entertained by cultural performances as well as the traditional chilli eating competition.
The festival will run from 11am – 11pm on Friday 30 August and 10am – 10pm on Saturday 31 August. Hosted by the Canberra India Council and made possible by the City Renewal Authority’s City Grants program, the event is now in its fifth year.
The World Curry Festival provides an opportunity for Canberra’s diverse communities to come together and showcase their culture through food and performance. The ever-popular “chilli eating competition” will be on again, at 1pm on Saturday.
