Community buildings and venues upgrades
  • Upgrades to disability facilities at Weston Community Hub and Woden Youth Centre, providing easier access for all clients.
  • Installation of solar PV at the Chifley Community Hub and Weston Community Hub to lower the utility costs at the facilities and help the environment.
Footpath and cycle path network upgrades
  • A new 700m long and 2.5m wide asphalt path on Cotter Road between Streeton Drive and the John Gorton Drive/Cotter Road intersection in Holder.
  • A new 54m long and 2m wide concrete path on Annabelle View between Madgwick Street and Terry Connolly Street in Coombs.
  • Widening the existing footpath behind the Bernacchi Street cul-de-sac in Mawson between the intersection below the pond and Mawson Drive. Once complete, it will be 2m wide.
  • A new 480m long and 2m wide asphalt path on the northern verge of Cotter Road from Pearlman Street into the Stromlo Depot and down to the existing shared path near the Canberra Centenary Trail in Coombs.
  • A new 167m long and 1.5m wide concrete path on Liardet Street between Trenerry Street and the Caltex car wash in Weston.
  • A new 310m long and 1.5m wide concrete path on the eastern verge of Yamba Drive between Mawson Drive and Julia Flynn Avenue in Isaacs; as well as the completion of a missing link between 10 Mawson Drive and the pedestrian crossing.
  • A new 430m long and 1.5m wide concrete path along Bernacchi Street between Du Faur Street and Hurley Street in Mawson.
  • A new 140m long and 1.5m wide concrete path on the outer verge on Medley Street between 14 Medley Street and the first open space connection.
  • A new 42m long and 2m wide concrete path along the dirt track on Corinna Street between the car park and 48 Corinna Street.
  • A new 78m long and 2m wide concrete path along the dirt track in the open space between Haines Street and Yolla Place in Lyons.
  • A new 10m long and 1.5m wide concrete link from the shopping centre footpaths to the existing footpath near 20 Waramanga Place in Waramanga.
  • Widening of the existing paths in the open space at the underpass of Gilmore Crescent near the Hartigan Street/Gilmore Crescent roundabout.
  • A new 271m long and 1.5m wide concrete path on Ainsworth Street heading southbound between Alsop Close and Power Street in Phillip.
  • The second stage of the Heysen Street Link in Lyons - a new 2.5m wide off-road asphalt shared path along Launceston Street from Burnie Street to the underpass near the Lyons shops.
  • Drainage issues addressed with path improvements at Namatjira Drive in Weston Creek.
Health service facility upgrades
  • Upgrades to the Tresillian Queen Elizabeth II Family Centre, including improvements to the reception area and children's play space, improvements to outdoor and landscaped spaces, installation of CCTV, a new heating and cooling system and free WIFI.
  • Improvements to the air conditioning system in Canberra Hospital Building 12.
  • Improvements to the air conditioning system in Centenary Hospital for Women and Children.
  • Building improvements at the Weston Creek Community Health Centre and Walk-in Centre.

Road safety improvements
  • New speed humps and pedestrian refuges in Weston on both McInnes Street between Hindmarsh Drive and Hilder Crescent, and on Heysen Street between Streeton Drive and the driveway to the Oakey Hill Nature Reserve.
  • Traffic lights installed and other safety improvements made at the intersection of Launceston Street and Irving Street in Phillip.
