Proof of identification for licences and registrations
You must confirm your identification when you are applying for a business license or registration.
Applying as an individual
Each applicant or owner must provide one piece of photo identification.
This includes:
- driver licence
- passport
- proof of identity card
- proof of age card.
Applying as a company
If your company is a corporation, you must also provide a copy of your current Company Extract issued by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission.
This must be issued in the 30 days before applying.
Each company must nominate an authorised agent to make the application. The authorised agent must provide one piece of photographic identification.
