Overview

An independent project board is established when a complex infrastructure project is classified as a major project. The project board has strong focus on strategic decision making for the project. Generally the membership of each project board will include:

The specific make up of each project board will be based on its scope and which ACT Directorates have operations that intersect with the project.

Canberra Hospital Expansion project board

The Canberra Hospital Expansion Project Board meets on a monthly basis. The Canberra Hospital Expansion Project Board functions as the key advisory body providing strategic decision-making advice and guidance in relation to the procurement and delivery of the Canberra Hospital Expansion Project.

Canberra Hospital Expansion Project Board membership is made up of an independent chair, an independent member, and four senior executive level staff from ACT Directorates whose operations intersect in some way with the delivery of the Canberra Hospital Expansion Project:

CIT Woden Campus project board

The CIT Woden Project Board meets on a monthly basis. The CIT Woden Project Board functions as the key advisory body providing strategic decision-making advice and guidance in relation to the planning, procurement and delivery of the new CIT Woden Campus and adjoining Woden Bus Interchange.

CIT Woden Project Board membership is made up of an independent chair, independent member, representatives from CIT and the CIT Board, and four senior executive level staff from ACT Directorates whose operations intersect with the delivery of the CIT Woden Campus and Woden Bus Interchange:

Canberra Theatre Centre Redevelopment project board

The Project Board has a focus on strategic decision-making advice in relation to the Canberra Theatre Redevelopment Project and provides advice to the ACT Government in respect of the Business Case development, detailed design, procurement and delivery of the Project. The CTR Project Board is responsible for providing advice and direction to key project personnel.

Project Board membership is made up of an independent chair, an independent member, and six senior executive level staff from several ACT Directorates whose operations intersect in some way with the Canberra Theatre Redevelopment Project:

Light Rail project board

The Light Rail Project Board (the Project Board) meets monthly. The Project Board has a strong focus on strategic decision making in relation to the light rail projects and broader light rail network development and provides advice to the ACT Government in respect of the planning, procurement and delivery of the light rail transport.
