Free hop-on, hop-off City Loop bus service
Locals and tourists now have access to a free hop-on hop-off City Loop bus for a one-year trial.
The service will provide a convenient link to key City hubs such as the City Bus Station, Canberra Centre, Braddon precinct, Northbourne Avenue, the Australian National University and New Acton precinct.
The City Loop will allow people to also connect with high frequency Red and Blue Rapid services and buses to the Parliamentary Triangle.
The commencement of the new service coincides with the establishment of the Transport Canberra and City Services Directorate (TCCS).
TCCS brings together ACTION buses, light rail, roads, active travel and our city’s vital local services, connecting services for the people of Canberra.
TCCS will continue to manage and deliver the essential services Canberrans rely on each day, including our public libraries, recycling and waste services, road management, graffiti removal, shop and playground upgrades, maintenance of open public spaces including shopping centres, animal welfare and grass mowing.
