A healthier you


You are invited to take part in the eight week Healthier Me physical activity and healthy lifestyle program. The program has been developed for people who are at risk of developing, or currently living with, diabetes or other chronic conditions.

The program is designed to meet your personal needs and can be modified according to your level of fitness and capabilities. Classes run twice weekly–starting slowly and building up throughout the eight weeks and include aerobic and resistance style training as well as lifestyle and nutrition education sessions.

To ensure your safety and ongoing good health, participants will require a medical clearance from their general practitioner to participate, and an initial assessment with CIT Fit & Well.

This program has been developed to support the ACT Government’s Healthy Weight Initiative.

When: 3 May to 23 June 2016

Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:00pm

Where: CIT Fit and Well, CIT Bruce

Cost: $80 total per participant

Information Session

An information session will be held at CIT Fit & Well on Tuesday 19 April from 6-7pm for interested participants.
