Support for new cancer treatment at University of Canberra
A new company will soon operate at the University of Canberra bringing a revolutionary breast cancer treatment to market and create jobs for Canberrans in the health sector. EpiAxis Therapeutics Pty Ltd is leading groundbreaking research which aims to minimise the recurrence of breast cancer.
Changes to ACT Government planning regulations in 2015 also paved the way for the construction of a new state-of-the-art cancer centre at the University of Canberra which opened in February. The Radiation Oncology Centre will increase the availability of radiation and medical oncology services in the ACT.
