Mulligans Flat to Triple in Size

Work is now underway to extend Mulligans Flat Sanctuary in Canberra’s north.

The 485 hectare Sanctuary is being expanded to the south with new predator proof fencing. This will add 768 hectares, making up a total of 1,253 hectares of protected area.

Mulligans Flat is at the forefront of Australian wildlife conservation. After being absent from mainland Australia for 100 years, animals like the Eastern Bettong and Eastern Quoll have been successfully reintroduced to the sanctuary.
