Three projects in the Isabella Pond area will provide more recreational space and help to improve water quality.
The improvements mean both ponds will be drained; Isabella Pond for about 18 months and Upper Stranger Pond for approximately two months. However, work will occur simultaneously to minimise the impact.
Isabelle Weir will be upgraded, with excavated sediment used to build new wetlands. While the ponds are drained, carp will be eradicated and the ponds re-stocked with native fish once construction is complete.
Work will occur during 2017 and 2018.
