The Ricky Stuart Foundation, in partnership with the ACT Government, has opened a second respite care home in Canberra.

The house is named after Ricky's daughter Emma Ruby, who has autism.

Emma Ruby House provides respite care for young people aged 12-18 years who have a disability and provides an opportunity for carers and families to take a short break.

Emma Ruby House, located in Cook, complements Ricky Staurt House in Chifley, which opened two years ago for children aged six-12 years.

Emma Ruby House is managed by The Disability Trust.
