Green bins are now available to residents in Tuggeranong, Weston Creek and Belconnen.

Green waste collections will also be available by mid 2019 to residents in Gungahlin, Woden, Molonglo Valley, the Inner North and Inner South.

As green bins continue to roll out across Canberra, here are three simple steps to make sure your green waste is collected.

1. Put your green bin near the kerb with the wheels towards your home.

2. Make sure your green bin is clear of obstructions such as cars, letterboxes, or trees

3. Make sure the lid is properly closed.

Remember to put your green bin away after collection, it keeps our suburbs looking tidy.
