29 April 2019
As Canberra is filled with beautiful, unique and exceptional trees and forests, Tree Week provides the perfect opportunity to appreciate the positive benefits these provide to the community. It's a celebration of everything trees in the Aussie capital!
Canberra Tree Week 2019 kicks off on Saturday 4 May and will run through until Sunday 12 May.
The program is packed with green activities occurring across Canberra including at the National Arboretum Canberra, The Australian National Botanic Gardens and at local libraries.
Bring the family along for Hug a Tree Day or participate in a kite making class. Also in the program are free guided walks through Forest 20 at the National Arboretum and tree planting activities for those with a passion for gardening.
