A fifth Walk-in Centre will be built in Dickson.

02 July 2019

Canberra’s newest Walk-in Centre will open in Dickson by late 2020.

The Dickson Walk-in Centre will be located with the Dickson Community Health Centre, Dickson Place.

Walk-in Centres are already in Tuggeranong, Belconnen and Gungahlin, with a new Weston Creek centre opening later this year.

Open seven days a week from 7:30am to 10pm, including Christmas and New Year’s Day, Walk-in Centres are perfect for one-off treatments such as:

  • common illnesses, like cold and flu
  • cuts and bruises
  • minor infections and wounds
  • strains and sprains
  • skin conditions and rashes.

Don’t forget you can find out how long wait times are at Walk-in Centres across Canberra with the new Health App.
