Hume helicopter base ready for take off

The Toll SouthCare Rescue Helicopter base in Hume is back in full swing after a recent refurbishment.

The SouthCare team provides expert aviation and critical care medical and rescue operations to the ACT and NSW South Eastern Region, including Goulburn and the Snowy Mountains.

The upgrades included enhancements to the aircraft hangar, operations and planning room, and crew facilities.

Staff will also enjoy new equipment and improvements to a number of the facilities including the workshop and engineering areas.

The new helibase will provide invaluable medical support for communities of the ACT and surrounding regions now and into the future.
