Construction on the Weston Creek Walk-in Centre to start

The upgrade of Weston Creek community health centre (also known as the Independent Living Centre) into a new Walk-in Centre for Weston Creek and neighbouring areas will start soon.

The new Walk-in Centre will provide the growing Molonglo Valley and Weston Creek region better access to free health care for minor injuries or illnesses.

Walk-in Centre's are open 7 days a week, including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Opening hours are between 7.30am and 10pm.

Visit a Walk-in Centre's for treatment of:

  • common illnesses, like cold and flu
  • cuts and bruises
  • minor infections and wounds
  • strains and sprains
  • skin conditions and rashes

The Weston Creek Walk-in Centre is expected to be open by the end of 2019.
