A new state-of-the art CIT campus in Woden will provide a cutting-edge educational experience for an expected 6,500 students each year.

The campus will be built alongside a new bus interchange at the site of the existing Woden Bus Station, keeping the Town Centre on track to become a key transport, education and business hub.

The new facility will harness the latest in technology and will complement CIT’s existing campuses in Bruce, Fyshwick, Gungahlin and Tuggeranong.

As part of its modernisation, CIT will retain a presence in the city and will continue to operate in Reid until the Woden campus is operational.

It is part of the rollout of the government’s $14 billion Infrastructure Plan to ensure our city remains one of the world’s most liveable.

This includes a significant investment in new and improved infrastructure for Woden and Molonglo to support the region’s future growth.

The government is also extending light rail to Woden, providing ongoing support for new and existing businesses, enhancing active travel links, building new schools and upgrading existing sites and bringing more public servants to Woden.
