New Fire and Ambulance stations are planned for the city and Molonglo.

29 October 2019

Plans are underway to build two new Emergency Services Stations, one in the Molonglo Valley and one in the city. The stations will house both ACT Ambulance Service and ACT Fire & Rescue crews.

The new stations will support the ACT’s emergency services to keep Canberrans safe in our fast-growing suburbs and ensure our emergency response times remain among the best in Australia no matter where people live across our city.

It is important that our investment in police and emergency services grows with our city ensuring our first responders have the resources they need to keep the Canberra community safe.
