Does an outdoor flavour feast sound good to you? Then get set to dine your way through the Great Woolley Street Feast in Dickson.
On Saturday 9 November at 6pm - 9.30pm, make time for food and fun as Woolley Street is closed to traffic and opened up for people to experience Dickson's culinary delights. The fun-filled street feast, will run the length of Woolley Street with lights, painted murals, live music and lanterns.
The menu will feature food from eight of Dickson's local restaurants:
- Dickson Dumpling House
- Super Bao
- Alara's Turkish Pide Grill House
- Mekong River
- Chongqing Street Noodle
- Wukong Hot Pot
- A Bite
Purchase a ticket to secure your seat. Each ticket to the feast includes a reserved place at The Great Woolley Street Feast table, one-and-a-half hours of delicious delicacies from the participating restaurants and a customised event bowl with all utensils needed to enjoy your meal.
There will be two sessions, each lasting one-and-a-half hours.
First session - 6pm-7.30pm
Second Session - 8pm-9.30pm
If you miss out on a ticket you can still take part in the fun. Visit one of the many great Dickson venues and enjoy the atmosphere along the street during the event.
It's all part of the Woolley St. Project, a series of temporary streetscape improvements, activities and installations designed to create more appealing, people-focussed public spaces in Dickson. Woolley Street will be closed to traffic during the event.
Consider using public transport, cycling or coming on foot. Extra parking spaces will be made available on Challis Street, while plenty of other parking spaces are also available throughout Dickson centre if you need to drive.
