Feel like a plant-based, organic meal? Open daily from 9am – 3pm, Sweet Bones is a vegan café and bakery with a rock’n’roll vibe.

Visit Rizla to feast on local food and wine, while feeling like you’re dining amid an intimate garden.

  • Discover a rainforest just minutes from the city

Where: Australian National Botanic Gardens

Pack your camera and head over to the Australian National Botanic Gardens. Stroll through the Rainforest Gully and let the calming and rejuvenating atmosphere of the gardens transport you into a world of Zen.

Once you’ve finished admiring the greenery and wildlife head over to the Pollen Café to grab some lunch.

After lunch book yourself into Jindii Eco Spa. Surrounded by the Botanical Gardens, the spa is inspired by the native flora found in the lush rainforest.

  • Experience the Dairy Road precinct in Fyshwick

Where: Capital Brewing Co, Brodburger, BlocHaus, and VertiKal.

Grab some mates and enjoy an action-packed day with bouldering, alpine skiing, burgers and brews.

Pack a pair of comfy shoes and start your day at BlocHaus, an indoor climbing gym focusing on social bouldering.

After working up a sweat, you’ll be ready for lunch. Head to Brodburger, where you can pair your meal with a local beverage from Capital Brewing Co.

Once your food-coma has settled, visit VertiKal where you can try your hand at alpine skiing. Whether you’re a pro on the slopes or a newbie, they have you covered.

The slope itself is a giant mat like a treadmill, made of soft white nylon fibre that sits on a tilted and moving platform.
