Walk-in Centres offer free health care for minor injuries and illnesses.

11 May 2020

The Dickson Community Health Centre (DCHC) is undergoing refurbishment over the coming months.

A new Inner North Walk-in Centre will be added to the suite of services already offered.

This will be the fifth nurse led Walk-in Centre to be built in the ACT and will expand access to free primary health care treatment and health advice for a range of minor injuries and illnesses.

The integration of the Walk-in Centre with the Community Health Centre under one roof will create several new treatment and consulting rooms within the existing building footprint. This will enable Canberra Health Services to offer more health services from this location.

The work includes the refurbishment and re-invigoration of the centre, which is expected to open in late 2020.

Walk-in Centres are open seven days a week from 7.30am to 10pm daily, including all public holidays.

The services offered by our nurse-led Walk-in Centres are free of charge.
