One of the early indicative concept designs for the new CIT Woden campus on Callam Street.
20 May 2020
Plans are progressing for a state-of-the-art Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) campus and integrated public transport interchange to be built in the heart of Woden.
Woden is entering a period of significant growth and renewal, and this project will play an important role in its transformation into a modern environment where people live, work and study.
We are at an early stage of designing the new campus and would like to hear your thoughts on what attributes go into the design of a great campus, building and space.
Your feedback will assist our architects and engineers to prioritise what is important to community members, local business, future users of the site (such as bus drivers, VET trainers and assessors, and CIT student), helping shape future concepts for the new campus.
The CIT Campus – Woden: Design and Values Survey is available via YourSay until Wednesday 17 June and will include topics such as building heights and layout, green space ratios, connectivity to local facilities, public transport integration and sustainable design features.
