Floriade has been reimagined with the annual spring celebration moving from its traditional home in Commonwealth Park to bloom across Canberra.

One million bulbs and annuals will create a tulip trail through the ACT’s suburbs and city. Featuring floral plantings by the Floriade: Reimagined horticulture team and more than 90 Canberra community groups, this year’s festival allows the community to enjoy spring blooms every day.

Experience a touch of Floriade: Reimagined at more than 130 locations with the tulip trail – there are lots of great locations in Tuggeranong.

Tuggeranong residents might already be aware that the famous Kambah sheep are known for getting dressed up for all occasions. At Christmas you will find them dressed in a Santa hat and covered in tinsel, and now for Floriade: Reimagined they are amid a floral wonderland. Head down to Kambah Village Shopping Centre at Primmer Circuit to admire these festive sheep.

Lanyon Homestead at Tharwa also features pops of spring joy. Immerse yourself in the gardens as the Floriade: Reimagined bulbs bloom with colour. The homestead will also host a Sunday Session, photography workshop and tours of the historic site.

Do you love admiring the beautiful architecture of churches? Make your way to Good Shepherd Community Church on the corner of Hambidge Crescent and Proctor Street in Chisholm. Church volunteers have been working extra hard maintaining their circular garden bed, which has a colourful display of bulbs and annuals.

The Tuggeranong Uniting Church at 17 Comrie Street Wanniassa, have also made one of their garden beds in the shape of a dove.

Feel like watching a movie at the cinemas, or doing a spot of shopping at Tuggeranong? Head to the shopping district on Anketell Street, Greenway, where you will see plenty of spring blooms.
