New learning spaces at Franklin School are providing up to 450 additional places for preschool to year 6 students.

The school expansion includes new permanent buildings, a multi-purpose community hall and gymnasium, a sports field, hard courts, landscaping and more parking.

Franklin School Principal Kate Flynn says the new facilities have already transformed the school experience for students and teachers alike.

“It’s been wonderful to see the students taking advantage of the new classrooms and outdoor learning spaces,” Kate said.

“We’re now able to better serve our growing school community with the additional space, more activity options and inclusive infrastructure creating accessible experiences for all students.

"Another major benefit for our community from our school’s expansion to a preschool to year 6 school, is that children can now complete their entire primary school journey in the one setting.

“It’s helped make Franklin School an even greater school for our region.”

The modern spaces will provide an inclusive learning experience for all students.
