JobTrainer Employment Jumpstart grants program

Funded under the JobTrainer extension and expansion in partnership with the Australian Government the JobTrainer Employment Jumpstart (JEJ) Grants Program is designed to support accessibility to fee-free training places and wraparound support services. The Program is aimed at job seekers, unemployed and underemployed Canberrans, school leavers and young people in areas of identified ACT skills need and/or employment growth. The Program is intended to support eligible Canberrans into employment as the Territory recovers from the social and economic impacts of COVID-19.

The JEJ Grants Program provides funding of up to $250,000 for successful applicants delivering projects that include both accredited and non-accredited full qualifications and a range of short courses to build entry-level work-ready skills to complete before 30 June 2023.
