The ACT Multicultural Awards recognise contributions to our multicultural community and acknowledges individuals and organisations who strive for excellence in their services.
Nominations open
Nominations for the 2024 awards will open in the middle of 2024.
Who can nominate?
You can nominate organisations or individuals doing excellent work in their field. This could be business, advocacy, media, art, culture and language preservation, settlement services or others.
Award categories
You can nominate in 4 categories.
Multicultural Individual Champion
The ACT Multicultural Individual Champion Award acknowledges outstanding efforts that have contributed to making Canberra a more welcoming community.
Community Organisation Multicultural Champion
The ACT Community Organisation (Multicultural Champion) Award is for social enterprises, businesses, public sector and educational services that have benefited the ACT multicultural community and contributed to strengthening social cohesion and participation.
Outstanding Excellence Award for Diversity and Inclusion
The ACT Outstanding Excellence Award for Diversity and Inclusion recognises an individual or organisation in the community sector for their dedication to enhancing cultural diversity and promoting inclusion.
Multicultural Art, Media or Culture Award
The ACT Multicultural Art, Media or Culture Award is for contribution to promoting multiculturalism in the ACT community through art, media or cultural activities.
