Review of low risk research
The Low Risk Sub-Committee (LRSC) provides an expedited review process for research that meets the National Statement definition of low and/or negligible risk. Find out more in chapter 2 of the National Statement.
As of 1 September 2021, low risk research proposals undergoing a non-Human Research Ethics Committee level review are accepted under the National Mutual Acceptance scheme in all jurisdictions except South Australia. For more information go to the Policy Position [PDF 60kB].
