Tickets are now available for Canberra’s Street Machine Summernats 36.

The four-day celebration of horsepower will be held at EPIC from 4–7 January 2024.

Entries sold out faster than ever this year, with Summernats 36 set to host the biggest burnout competition in the event’s history.

This will include a contingent of cars that qualified at events across New Zealand.

Keen spectators are advised to get in quickly this year. Spectator tickets sold out for the first time ever at Summernats 35. And with sales now tracking three times faster, organisers are expecting the same for Summernats 36.

Visitors can expect:

  • Australia’s most spectacular custom show cars
  • the world’s best burnout drivers
  • a massive performance trade show
  • non-stop cruising
  • incredible horsepower demonstrations
  • great food
  • an unbeatable music line-up.

The event’s biggest-ever concert line-up will include Aussie rock greats Grinspoon, Darryl Braithwaite and the Screaming Jets, plus Hot Dub Time Machine playing through a timeline of music through the ages.

Dragon and VoxNeon will also play in an entrant-exclusive on the Wednesday night leading into the event.

Summernats co-owner Andy Lopez said there would also be "30 incredible new and unseen modified cars that will be unveiled, the mayhem of Skid Row, the colour and excitement of the City Cruise, the Braddon Fringe Festival, plus Mulletfest”.

"It’s going to be mad,” he said.
