Canberrans are invited to help design a new community hub at the Kippax Group Centre in Holt.
The new community hub will provide a place for the community to connect, host events and deliver services.
The ACT Government wants to hear from locals on how the new hub can be designed and used to meet the needs of the community.
Feedback gathered will be used in the concept design stage of the project. There will be more opportunities for the community to contribute to the community hub in the future stages of its development.
The Kippax Community Hub is part of the Government’s plan to refresh the area. Work to upgrade the area is being undertaken to meet the needs of the growing West Belconnen community.
People who live or work in the West Belconnen area are invited to submit feedback online and in-person. Consultation is open until 20 August 2023.
There will also be an information stand at the Kippax Library and pop-ups at Kippax Fair shopping centre.
