Share your idea to improve Page as part of the new ‘My little big idea’ initiative.

06 September 2023

Residents of Page are invited to share their ideas to help improve their suburb.

A new pilot program called ‘My little big idea’ involves the community in the decision-making process of the ACT Government.

Through the new initiative there is up to $40,000 available for ideas that could help build connection and resilience in the Page community.

All ideas for improvements will be considered, with one winning idea to receive the funding to make it happen.

Ideas could include:

  • a street library
  • fitness or cooking classes
  • playgroups
  • an event
  • or a series of activities.

A community panel and the public will have the final say on the winning idea, which will then receive funding in 2024.

The program will build on previous programs inviting input from Canberrans on what is needed in their suburb and explore how similar approaches can be used alongside existing budget consultation processes.
