The Acton Waterfront project has been recognised at the 2023 Master Builders and Asset Construction Hire Excellence Awards.
The City Renewal Authority – together with construction partners Chincivil and Indesco – took out first place in the ‘Civil Other’ category.
The award formally recognises our work to extend the Acton Waterfront boardwalk and reclaim 2.8 hectares of the lake for a new public park.
City Renewal Authority CEO Malcolm Snow said he was thrilled his team had been formally recognised for their hard work.
“The award recognises the shared effort to deliver a complex and largescale infrastructure solution so that future generations can enjoy a wonderful lakefront park,” Mr Snow said.
“I look forward to seeing this precinct become a bustling meeting place for locals and visitors in the coming years, providing opportunities for new homes, restaurants, tourism and recreation.”

The National Capital Authority is currently seeking community feedback on the City Renewal Authority’s works approval for the public park, which will pave the way for construction to begin.
