Six artists have been selected and have supplied artworks for our creative hoardings pilot program. The trial initiative is designed to enhance the City Centre’s visual appeal, support emerging artists, and maintain public safety.
The Creative Hoardings program transforms construction hoardings into vibrant art displays, connecting artists with the community and revitalising our city’s vacant properties. The initiative not only promotes local artists but also prevents graffiti and beautifies the City Centre.

Through an expression of interest process, these artists have been selected for the quality of previous work, and exceptional creativity and vision. Their work will soon adorn various construction sites and properties around the City Centre, turning ordinary hoardings into extraordinary canvases.
“We’re thrilled to see the Creative Hoardings program come to life,” A/g Executive Branch Manager, Place Experience and Communications Teresa Comacchio said.
“The selected artists are immensely talented which has been shown by the high quality of their submissions.
“These artworks will transform ordinary hoardings into amazing public artworks that beautify the city, provide a platform for these artists, and spark conversations in the community.”
