Place Experience program boosting business outcomes

It’s been an enormous first half of the 2023-24 financial year which featured ice skating in the City Centre, a Latin American Fiesta, beautiful new public artworks, Santa photos, and free merry go-round-rides.

Through implementing the actions outlined by the Place Experience and Marketing Action Plan 2023-24, the City Renewal Authority has worked alongside local businesses and the community to create high quality places and activities.

The placemaking and marketing initiatives implemented in the initial months of the financial year have successfully attracted a greater number of visitors to the City Centre and Braddon. This has resulted in extended stays within the precinct, boosting support for local shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars.
