Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback and insights in our last consultation period for Acton Waterfront park and future neighbourhood. The consultation reports can be viewed in the YourSay document library.
We heard from a diverse cross-section of the community through pop-up conversations, drop-in sessions, workshops, YourSay, emails and social media.
We received more than 800 pieces of feedback that informed key themes of consultation. These key themes focused on:
These important insights are being incorporated into the final park design and planning for the neighbourhood. Works approval for the park will be sought from the National Capital Authority in mid-2023.
We will continue to work with the community and stakeholders throughout this multi-year engagement process as we develop Acton Waterfront into a lakeside destination for the Canberra community and visitors to use and enjoy.
