These new dwellings in Dickson will provide housing for Canberrans in need.

21 March 2023

As part of the ACT Government’s public housing renewal program, 21 new, modern and energy efficient properties have now been completed in Dickson.

These properties have replaced six ageing public housing properties and are ready to welcome new tenants and families most in need of housing support.

The new homes include a range of two-bedroom townhouses to four-bedroom units and meet a minimum seven-star energy efficiency rating to improve tenant comfort all year round.

The new townhouses and units are built to be easily adapted to meet changing accessibility needs and support tenants to remain at home as they grow older.

The homes are well placed for access to local schools, shops and medical services, and public transport options to support the needs of tenants.
