SpringOUT, Canberra’s iconic LGBTIQA+ festival is back for another year.

The celebration of pride will run throughout November, with both free and paid events held across Canberra.

From big breakfasts, discos and stand-up comedy to sports and panel discussions – there’s something on for everyone at SpringOUT.

Here are some event highlights:

Flag raising ceremony

To kickstart SpringOUT, LGBTIQA+ community flags will be raised outside the Legislative Assembly.

Join in on the celebration by dressing in your best sparkly and shiny outfit.

• Where: ACT Legislative Assembly, 196 London Circuit, Canberra City
• Cost: free
• All ages welcome.

SpringOUT Fair Day

Don't miss Canberra’s largest free LGBTIQA+ community event, Fair Day.

Take the whole family along, your mates or even your pup – there’s something for everyone.

Enjoy a packed program of performances and entertainment including a kid’s entertainment area, indulge in local food and drink and browse over 60 market stalls.

CBR Pride Stride

Join the annual CBR Pride Stride to celebrate love, diversity and community.

Ride, run walk or strut 5km around Lake Burley Griffin.

The Pride Stride is a great opportunity to meet lots of diverse and wonderful members of the community.

Queers Past Live

See Canberra’s queer history podcast, Queers Past, live on stage.

Zev Aviv will host an evening of intimate, real-life LGBTIQA+ stories spanning decades.

The show will explore the experiences and legacy of those who shaped our vibrant queer community - Canberrans who lived, loved, and fought for change to the voices of today.

Kaleidoscope IV exhibition

Kaleidoscope IV is an open exhibition that celebrates the uniqueness and diversity of LGBTIQA+ art.

See artworks created by LGBTIQA+ community members that express their experiences of queerness, sexuality, gender, and unique individuality.

• When: on now until Sunday 30 November
• Where: Pivot Gallery, Belconnen Arts Centre, Belconnen
• Opening Hours: Tuesday – Sunday, 10am – 4pm
• Cost: free.
