From epic exhibitions to rainy-day activities, we’ve gathered some ideas to satisfy every brick-head.
Of course, many of these are just as relevant to Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs) too.
RELICS: A New World Rises at Canberra Museum + Gallery
Part nostalgia trip, part immersive art experience, RELICS: A New World Rises transforms forgotten objects into extraordinary LEGO® worlds.
Set in an imagined future where humans have abandoned Earth, the exhibition playfully explores creativity, consumer culture, sustainability and the objects we leave behind, across more than 15 large-scale installations.
The exhibition was created by LEGO® Masters winners Jackson Harvey and Alex Towler.
Dates: 19 September 2026 – 31 January 2027.

The Canberra Brick Show
The Canberra Brick Show is Canberra’s ultimate LEGO fan event.
It's hosted by the Canberra LEGO User Group.
Grab a ticket to see hundreds of tables of amazing displays, exhibits and vendors from around Australia.
LEGO fans of all ages are welcome at this weekend of brick-filled fun.
Dates: 31 October - 1 November 2026.

The Roundabout Canberra's LEGO sales
Looking to add to your collection while supporting Canberra families in need?
The annual Roundabout Canberra Great LEGO Sale runs each year, organised in partnership with Goodies Junction.
You'll find everything from collector's items to minifigures and loose bricks by the kilo, Every dollar raised goes directly to Roundabout Canberra. This helps them provide essential baby and children’s items to families in need.
Dates for 2027 are still to be announced.
In the meantime, Roundabout Canberra will hold their Loose LEGO Sale on 18 October 2026 at the Canberra Southern Cross Club.
This event is for loose LEGO and DUPLO only, sold by the kilo.

Want to donate some LEGO you no longer use? Roundabout is looking for:
- Complete or mostly-complete LEGO sets
- Sets with instructions and boxes (if you still have them)
- Clean, well-sorted LEGO (bagged by set if possible)

Roundabout Canberra runs the annual Great LEGO Sale.
Libraries ACT LEGO Brick Club
Ready to unleash your imagination and build something extraordinary? Head to your local library for an exciting, casual afternoon build program. Best of all, it's free.
They provide the LEGO bricks and the space; all that's missing is your ideas. Build at your own pace and create whatever your heart desires.
Whether you're a seasoned builder or a first-timer, this program is designed for everyone to enjoy.

Join the Canberra LEGO User Group (CLUG)
CLUG is a non-profit association which aims to share techniques and ideas for building LEGO projects.
The group meets regularly and there is an active Facebook group.
Members also showcase projects at local and interstate LEGO exhibitions.

Kids' programs
Young Engineers run Brick Challenge classes which introduce primary-aged students to STEM concepts through LEGO. There are also school holiday programs.
Code Camp features LEGO in some of its programs and holiday camps too.
COMING UP IN 2027
Bricks @ Woden School
The Bricks @ Woden School takes place each year to wow LEGO lovers young and old.
This family-friendly event is held at the school. Funds go towards important projects for students with special needs.
Visit to see amazing LEGO displays of all sizes.
This event is coordinated by the Woden School in association with the Canberra Lego User Group and the Woden School Parents & Citizens Association.
Dates for 2027 are still to be announced.

A different type of block: BlocHaus Bouldering
BlocHaus Fyshwick has a dedicated space for kids aged 5–12 years. This area allows kids and their families to enjoy climbing together.
The gym also runs facilitated kids’ programs. Kids learn to get the most from bouldering and their developing skills.
As with every LEGO build, every climb is a puzzle. The key is experimenting with how your body moves to figure it out.
BlocHaus’s Mitchell gym is for visitors aged 12+.
The family-friendly Bricks @ Woden School event is held annually.
