How and when you travel on public transport can save you money
29 March 2023
Public transport is a convenient way to travel, but make sure you take advantage of the concessions or discounts available to save yourself money.
When using your MyWay card, remember:
- Registering a MyWay concession card entitles you to a discounted fare.
- Always tap-on and tap-off to pay the cheapest fare.
- You have a free 90-minute transfer period to connect to other bus and light rail services or commence a return trip using the same ticket.
- You can receive a 5% discount on individual fares if you top-up your MyWay card via autoload (direct debit) or BPAY.
