The iconic 'Dream Lens for the Future' has been successfully moved to its new home on the Lake Tuggeranong foreshore.
Dream Lens was created by renowned Japanese artist Keizo Ushio.
Previously located on Northbourne Avenue, Dream Lens was carefully and successfully relocated to make way for the construction of Light Rail Stage 2A.
It now resides between the Tuggeranong Library and the Community Centre on Cowlishaw Street.
The government worked with the artist’s Australian agent and ArtsACT to decide the new location.
The sculpture was designed to frame its landscape through the circular form.
The site offers sweeping views across Lake Tuggeranong and is accessible via a refurbished walkway.
The new garden setting places the sculpture at ground level and includes native plants and a seating ledge.
