ACT Skills Action Plan

Jurisdictional Action Plans are a new initiative under the National Skills Agreement agreed by all States and Territories and the Australian Government.

These plans will respond to the priorities, outcomes and action targets established under the National Skills Plan which was published in 2024.

The actions and priorities in the ACT Skills Action Plan 2024-28 (PDF 4.8MB) have been informed by the Skilled to Succeed – Skills and Workforce agenda and the Skilled to Succeed Industry Action Plans, released earlier in 2024.

Significant consultation with industry peak bodies, employers, workers and registered training organisations was undertaken to inform these actions and priorities. The Plan will evolve based on emerging priorities of government and the future implementation of other policy initiatives under the National Skills Agreement.
