On 13 September 2024, the ACT Government assumed a caretaker role, with an election to be held 19 October 2024. Information on this website will be published in accordance with the Guidance on Caretaker Conventions until after the election and conclusion of the caretaker period.

Industry Action Plans

The Industry Action Plans (PDF 5.3MB) highlight how the government will work alongside industry and vocational education and training (VET) system to address challenges that are being experienced across five key industries of building and construction, renewables and sustainability, experience, advanced technology and caring.

There are 100 actions that can be taken over the short, medium and long term to grow an increasingly qualified workforce, improve equity, access and participation and ensure we have a high quality, flexible and responsive VET system.
